CAR brings together the internationally recognised research expertise of the Department of Archaeology and Natural History (ANH), Research School of Pacific and Asian Studies (RSPAS) in the ANU College of Asia and the Pacific (CAP), and the School of Archaeology and Anthropology (A&A), Faculty of Arts, ANU College of Arts and Social Sciences (CASS), with similarly acclaimed research in Quaternary geochronology based in the ANU radiocarbon laboratory and elsewhere in the Research School of Earth Sciences (RSES) in the College of Science (COS).
The establishment by the Australian National University in October 1999 of the Centre for Archaeological Research (CAR) consolidates previous resources in Archaeology and Palaeoanthropology at the ANU. CAR brings together the expertise of teaching and research staff in Archaeology and Palaeoanthropology at the ANU, within a single coordinating framework.

CAR invites the following submissions from members

Digital copies of original research posters (eg Powerpoint documents)

Digital scans or photocopies of public media references to CAR members and their work (eg newspaper clippings, weblinks to online articles etc)

Photos. At least one personal (preferably a bust) and any small selection from fieldwork. Colour or black & white are both fine

Any concise information regarding recent research, fieldwork or collaborative efforts

If anyone is seeking a PhD (or other) student to assist with a project, or if anyone is seeking collaboration on their work, some details

The smallest contribution would be most welcome
